Welcome to that 2020 Vision
🎂 2020: “Come and put your name on it.” Yes, we want our cake and to eat it, too. 🍰
2019 served up a lot of unique, life-changing experiences for the best. Whether a good or bad experience, I’m grateful to learn what I want and don’t want in my life. 🧿⭐️✨💕
With my hits and misses, here are the 5 things I’ve learned in 2019:
🎂Do what you love and it’ll fuel you through thick and thin.
Despite chasing desk jobs for paychecks, it became clear I was made for much more. The only person who stood in my way was me. Why was I saying yes to opportunities that should’ve been met with a no? To the movers and shakers who helped me learn how to grow and be my own boss creatively, I am humbled and amazed at what we can dream and become. Sometimes what we want actually doesn’t work out and better things happen. All love for my entrepreneurs/creatives out there!
🎂Know your audience and protect your energy.
There are levels to this space, and you have to understand what to keep to yourself versus what you’ll share with friends, family, strangers, etc. Before you can trust others, you must be strong within your own. And also focus on the great you can bring into existence, while not fighting anything or anyone committed to misunderstanding you. Keep being a juicy peach, love! Those who get it will connect.
🎂Whether you rush or take it slow, you’ll still get to your destination.
Or better. So why make a fuss? Arrive on your own time. Otherwise, you’ll miss important lessons along the way.
🎂Everything is not always what it seems.
Whether or not anyone believes it, comparison is the thief of joy and you should stop doing that to yourself. In any way, shape or form. Don’t undervalue YOU. Ever. Ever. Ever. You are your own secret sauce, and that’s the spice of life. Take up more space with your craft! The world needs that sweetness.
🎂Say yes to everything that resonates with the life you want, because NO is a sentence full of self-love. ⭐️
