Love, Support and Solidarity through Art: How Badgley Mischka is Feeding America One Sketch Bid at a Time
Coronavirus may have us indoors, but that hasn’t stopped Mark Badgley and James Mischka from getting creative!
Badgley Mischka is one of my favorite and iconic designer brands with their fabulous shoes and overall timeless design appeal. It’s time to add to cart, and place your bids. The head designers and founders behind Badgley Mischka have been isolating in their home in Palm Beach, Florida. Over the last 8 weeks, they’ve created 35 original sketches to help ensure no one goes hungry during this pandemic. Starting May 11, 2020, you can bid on these unique, collectible sketches.
“We have been isolating in Palm Beach, Florida for eight weeks now,” said Mark Badgley. “We decided to use this time creatively by working through some of our feelings with art,” he continued.
Talk about fabulousness: 100% of the proceeds will directly go towards Feeding America. Now that is fashion towards a good cause.
“After posting some of Mark’s sketches on Instagram, we had an overwhelming response and requests to purchase them,” James Mischka explained. “We wanted to use that opportunity to benefit people in need.”
And with every dollar raised, did you know that you can provide a minimum of 10 meals to children and families in need? I’d love to add one of these unique, glamorous sketches into my collection for that reason alone! So how does this work? What if you want to snag one or two—or a bunch? Well, you’ll need to bid on eBay and hope that the fashion gods are on your side!

Illustrating All of Our Feels During the Pandemic
Some of the sketches are already rapidly increasing beyond $100, $200, $300, and surpassing $400. Play your bidding strategies right and you might be able to bring home your favorite sketch. These will be up for a week, so may the odds be in your favor. If you’re lucky enough to place a winning bid in the end, each sketch will be personalized for you, while it’ll be framed and shipped to you at no extra cost. Bring a piece of history home in more ways than one, and do something good for those in need at the same time.
“In the face of enormous challenges, Feeding America food banks are responding with extraordinary efforts to make sure no one goes hungry during the pandemic,” said Mark. “We were supporters of Feeding America before the pandemic, and their mission is even more critical now,” added James. “Badgley Mischka is honored to be assisting in their efforts through the artistry of fashion design.”
