See her. be her. It’s a community of badass women all here for each other.
September 13: Happy Birthday, Austin Woman!
ATX Woman brought together women for complimentary bubbles, networking, panels, past cover women, and more. This conference not only celebrated founder Melinda Garvey’s hardworking leadership and women empowerment efforts, but it also delivered an authentic and encouraging community for all to connect, share, and grow. Did you attend one of the six breakout sessions? There were over 500 women in attendance! The Westin at The Domain did a great job handling all of the women and the shuttle service over to Erin Condren for the after party.
Did you visit the On The Dot Woman booth? If so, you probably met me in the bright pink dress! Need to sign up for the mailing list? Text 345345 with the word “EMPOWER” to get started.
I am grateful for my ATX Woman and On The Dot Woman family! These teams are inspiring and shine such a bright light on the world. Highlighting women around the city and worldwide truly is making a positive impact, and I can’t wait to see more of you featured with all of the great things we are creating. Give life to your ideas, and submit the women in your communities around the world to us to feature. Is it you? That would be rad! Nice to meet you :)
After the conference, we headed over to the erin condren store for the after party!
Styled by Something we seek
A stylist is great for helping you put together looks with what you have and shopping for what you need. In this styling session, my friend and stylist Amy collaborated on this bright colored look. I showed her my rainbow shoes, and she went to town with what to pair together. If you need assistance with revamping your closet, cleaning out your closet to match your style, or go shopping together, no matter the circumstance, Amy is curious and can assess what should be done. I loved my colorful look, and I look forward to her styling me again in the future.

The Kindness Campaign
The Kindness Campaign (www.tkckindness.org) was a great way to connect the ATX Woman community and give others some inspiring words of love. TKC helps kids as young as 3 develop emotional health skills.
“Here’s the secret to being kind: Before you can give kindness to others, you first have to give it to yourself.”
Source: tkckindness.org | This is so cool to see implemented into schools. I think adults could take a lesson from this project! I am all for everyone being kinder to one another.
I left the “Be Colorfully You!” one behind, so if you took this one home, please feel free to tag me and say hi! :) Let the kindness keep on giving support and love to you all. I came across this list for anti-bullying in school and promoting healthy emotional health. This is what it is all about here. Are you willing to take the kindness challenge?
Erin Condren:
Organization/Planning central
Last but certainly not least, the Erin Condren store was full of goodies, and you know it is #VirgoSeason, right? Without a doubt, you know I got organized and ready to commit to time management all over again. Ever need an organizational overhaul? Come to this store and ask for help. I am grateful for Barbie for taking care of me and customizing my horizontal planner. I am ready to take it into 2020 and beyond with the courage to ferociously do the things!!!! Now that I can be away from a computer screen, it will give me more of my focus back and away from timelines and feeds.
Ok, back to business! Enjoy.
